  • 2 Oranges
  • 220g Sugar (7.5 oz)
  • 300g ground almond meal (10.5 oz)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp orange blossom water
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  1. Put 2 large whole oranges into boiling water and simmer for 1 hour.
  2. Roughly chop up the oranges removing only the seeds.
  3. Puree the oranges to a smooth consistency
  4. Mix the eggs and add the sugar then whisk until thick and sugar has dissolved
  5. Fold in the ground almond, orange blossom water and baking powder until mixed.
  6. Place the mixture into a greased baking pan and bake on 160°C (320 °F) for about 1 hour
  7. Ice with favourite topping.
