Tomato Basil Omelette Recipe

As soon as I say its a tomato and basil whatever, recipe you know it is going to work what ever it is. This is a simple few minutes work for a tasty result. It relies on just a few fresh ingredients, and as quick and simple as any omelette.

A simple recipe for tomato and basil Omelette.

Ingredients
  • 2 -3 Eggs
  • ¼ Cup Finely chopped basil
  • ¼ Cup of chopped fresh tomato
  • ½ Tablespoon of butter or olive oil
  • Grated fresh parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Peper to taste
Instructions
  1. Grab a handful of fresh basil, and finely chop (the finer the better, if you lose interest and go with coarsely chopped just call it "rustic").
  2. Beat the eggs with a fork until yokes and whites are mixed.
  3. Add the basil and mix in.
  4. Chop up the tomato and put aside.
Notes
If cooking for for than one simply multiply out the ingredients, but you will still have to make each omelette one at a time.

      True you just have to go with the best you can find or grow your own. Doesn’t help being middle of winter, possible a farmers market once the weather warms up later in the year. Also note video taken with new Canon camera.
